Everyone is different, and will have different needs for their sessions.  I provide counseling for most mental health concerns, but my specialty areas are listed below:

Grief and Loss: Death of a loved one, survivors of suicide, pre- and post-divorce, infidelity, termination of pregnancy, infertility, pre- and post-weight loss surgery, job loss, relocation, adoption, pet loss, acquired disability, recent diagnosis of an illness, and life transitions

Counseling for parents: Adjusting to being a first time mom or dad, coping with having multiple children, working together as a team, post-partum depression, anxiety due to the addition of a child, coping with sleeping, feeding, and health concerns with your child, finding what works best for your family, finding time for yourself and your spouse.

Weight Loss: We provide counseling services prior to your weight loss surgery, after the surgery via phone and/or Skype during your recovery, and after you have recovered regular in-office sessions will resume

Anxiety: Panic attacks, fears, phobias, social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and generalized anxiety

Couple/Marital Concerns: Communication, trust, re-establishing emotional connections, enhancing satisfaction, conflict management, infidelity, and parenting concerns

Adolescent Concerns: Self-esteem and self-confidence, anger management, school and behavioral concerns, bullying, relationship concerns, preparation for the transition to college and new levels of independence
